Would it be illegal to scream as loud as I can in a public setting? If so, how much punishment would I get?
i mean just screaming noise.... like a huge roar that echoes for miles... maybe in a department store...

Erm... ...I don't really think so... ...but yet I'm not too sure my sweet.
People get nicked for swearing at police, under Act blah blah blah, so maybe there's another Act blah blah blah for inapropriate noise ? lol
I too - like one other on here has said - would love to see someone screaming at the top of their lungs and then just camly walk away as if nothing happened lol. Comical.
Someone on here said that if you screamed fire in a theatre, caused a stampede and someone died you'd get Manslaughter, what if you screamed, scared some lil' old lady, she had a heart attack and unfortunatly pass away, is that manslaughter ? The Law can confused me at times - god, even I confuse me at times. Hope I make sense to you LOL
Nah , kids scream all the time , especially (scream talking)..when an american kid is talking to an adult he screams the words. Its a sign of huge confidence of self
Hehe. This is an interesting question. I'm no lawyer or anything but I know that you would not get arrested for screaming, "Help! This guy's trying to shoot me!" in an emergency. It would probably depend where you are (library or maybe a place where they prohibit speaking). Definitely legal in emergencies.
