He can't hold it all night. I would take him out then in a week or two make him wait like 20 minutes, then continue until he is sleeping all night.

If he has to go to the bathroom you have to take him outside. You cant just ignore him. Its like having a baby. When the baby cries you cant just sit there and pretend its not crying. All puppies growl. Don't annoy him when he doesn't want you to. That can create a bad disposition.

A two month old puppy can't hold it all night. Get up and let him out.

So don't bother him. Do *not* correct him for growling, just ignore it. He's a baby, he'll adjust.

get up with him otherwise he will start messing his crate, which is a hard habit to break. my pups need a middle of the night break until they are at least 7 or 8 months old. my terrier needed them until over a year old.

when he growls at you , you either poke him in the shoulder or take him by the scruff of the neck and tell him "no" very firmly.

He means he wants you to kick him. If you satisfy his needs hard enough or long enough, he will be quiet
