    i got a phone when i just turned 18 i asked for a 12 month contact and got a 18 can

    i argue this? i went to carphone warehouse asked for an 12 month and came out with a 12 month contract without me knowing...i found out 4 months later it was a 18 month.

    Well, you clearly signed the contract without reading it, so technically it's entirely your look out.

    However if you ring them and mention this issue and any others which make you dissatisfied with their company and then firmly inform them that you are intending to leave when your contract is up for renewal they will probably offer you better pricing\conditions.

    slightly confusing Q ...... if u signed the agreement and it said then on the paperwork 18 month then uve got no hope as you signed it. as easy as its done if you dont read it thro properly then it is your problem. i had similar thing with an orange phone contract and no matter how much i disputed it i got no where as it was my fault for not reading it properly. unfortunately in this day and age you have to b so careful as comapnay will catch you out no matter what if it means making extra sales!!!! try and b more vigilant in future.
