How should I vent my anger?

Well, I have anger issues and I definitely take it out on my family. I get frustrated about my shitty computer, money problems, etc. etc. I also get frustrated/sad about my weight too but I don't really take that part on my family. I don't know what to do, I just want to punch things repeatedly alot of the times.

If you want to punch things you could get a punching bag. But don't use that as your only way to vent, you don't want to end up punching a person when you don't have your bag around. If your into music learn an instrument, drums are a GREAT way to let out anger. any instrument could work though. sports and writing about it helps to, or talking to someone.

Have you got a hobby? Sometimes it's nice to just become absorbed in a world that just MAKES SENSE: playing music, working with your hands, art, whatever.

If that doesn't work, burning off the anger with exercise is great. Two things done at the same time. Swim, play tennis, jog, walk swiftly, whichever sport you like. Let those endorphins work.

Try jogging. Or if you can't get out of the house, jog in place for fifteen minutes. Do 100 jumping jacks, 30 pushups, 30 crunches. Rest 10 minutes. Repeat. Drink some water. Then read a book. Do not start playing war games on the computer. Watch a funny movie.
