How do you balance a migraine and a screaming baby?

I woke up with a migraine and my daughter decided she wanted to test her vocal cords at maximum volume and I think my head is going to explode! What do you do when you have a headache and baby doesn't want to be quiet?

you deal with it, that is part of being a parent. Pop some meds, drink some caffeine, and try to get your little one to cuddle with you and watch a movie until it is gone.

In addition to your headache drug of choice put in some ear plugs. The Walgreen's or CVS sells those spongy kind that you squish down and put in your ear. It numbs down the crying but you can still hear a bit. And maybe some sunglasses for the light issue?

    Good luck, I hate migraines...

Ear plugs. Lay on the floor with your baby and let her terrorize you, that's as good as it will get.

Unless you are an alcoholic, pour yourself a glass of wine, put on some mellow music and try rocking your baby. I find that rocking while standing with your baby is a good method for getting them to quiet down. You get a rhythm going and they like it.

Get someone to watch the little one while you go take a warm shower. Take some meds and drink lots of water.
