I bought a car from Arnold Clark 4 months ago but had lots of problems with it and it was constantly in getting fixed, eventually after an intermittent gear problem was dismissed by the garage as "unable to be faulted" I decided to trade it in plus £2000- for a Vectra SRI, after a day or so I recognised a problem with the steering in the car which they took in and said they had fixed, since getting it back I noticed the steering still isn't right but Arnold Clark are saying they can't fault it, a friend of mines who has been working on cars for 20 years says it's quite clear there is a problem as have a couple of my friends who I have given a shot of the car. Would be grateful if anyone could advise me what to do, the car has a year and a half manufacturers warranty left and the shop warranty runs out on Monday which shouldn't matter as I reported the problem well within the warranty time. I paid 9 grand in total for the car and feel ripped off. HELP!!!
