How do I complain about a business to make the public aware?

I've had SEVERE issues with a tanning salon and have ended up spending 0 for only going 3 times. The guy is a complete a**hole, hanging up on me and flicking me off when I go in. We finally settled everything and yet I get another charge! The company says I need permission DIRECTLY FROM THE A**HOLE OWNER to refund the money, but I'm honestly afraid to go in because he is extremely intimidating! How do I make it public that this place is horrible, unfair, and HOW DO I GET MY MONEY BACK!

Another thing you may want to consider is searching the local AM talk radio stations to find out if anyone has a "consumer advocate" program or something like that. We have one here in town and a large part of his program is touting honest businesses and berating bad ones... he even calls them on air and confronts them.

Call the local news station and/or newspaper. They love these sort of consumer protection stories because they fight back and then the news outlet looks like the good guy.
