How can I stop my radio from whining when my network printer is plugged into...

...our router? My radio whines when our network printer is plugged into our router. When I disconnect it from the router, the noise stops.

Sounds like your network printer is emitting RF (radio frequency) radiation, and your radio is picking it up. Wireless-N devices are sensitive to emissions in the 20-40 MHz range (usually 20MHz). Consumer-grade radios are generally sensitive to 80-110MHz range. Some devices can "bleed" into nearby frequency ranges, but what you are describing is a little unusual. You may be getting this behavior if you have a signal amplifier / booster somewhere on your network, or if you have a poorly shielded device that's emitting in a frequency it's not supposed to.
