    Holding Notes in Metal Screaming?

For screaming I have trouble holding notes because I run out of air in my lungs. Am I using too much air? I can't get the guttural friction if I don't use enough. I am aware that you must scream for your diaphragm and I am doing so. Will sustained notes become easier to hold with more experience? Or would it be better to try to revise my technique?

Perhaps it's a matter of how you use your air. Remember to support to get more sound and use less air. And yes, practice will help.
