Thread: Forwarding port 3784 for vent on my d-link router?

I wanna make my own vent server, which I am really gonna use, so I wanna know how I can forward or open port 3784 so people can connect to my vent.BTW:my router is a D-link WBR-2310.(model)thanks

go into your router settings. well click start- click run- type cmd- type ipconfig. The default Gateway is what you want. Type the default gateway ip address in to the address bar of you internet browser (IE, Firefox) that should bring up a user name and password box. usually the password for d-link is like un: admin or administrator and the PW: is (blank) or password or admin. you can google default admin passwords for d-link router. once your inside there should be a tab that says port forwarding or gaming (something) that is where you will need to go. Make sure to choose both TDC and UDP type the port number 3784 in the begining and the end slot. Hopefully this helped.
