...finally complain about high gas prices? And inflation? And how bad the economy is?? And how the war in Iraq is going nowhere???

bucs: The media is just reporting the increases and sometimes people's reaction to it. But no criticism and finger pointing at all. If the media was so liberal, would they be calling for Bush to pressure OPEC or to tap into the strategic oil reserves? Isn't that how the media usually treats presidents? At least Democratic ones?
Weren't high gas prices one of the many things blamed on Carter and weren't Americans really upset with him?
Was the media this nice to Carter?

But wasn't OPEC reducing their production responible for Carter's inflation and high gas prices? Why is it only ok to look toward the president when a Democrat is in charge, but the president is blameless when he's a Republican?
