Do you think that the SAG (Screen Actors Guild) has a right to complain about...

...the possibilities of...? about the decision-makers using the internet to produce films which would include non-union actors?

I could understand the writers-without the script, there are no productions. However, I think that if the members of the SAG organization don't like it, it's their right not to like it. That doesn't mean that productions always have to include SAG members.

Their complaining because they don't feel they get enough residuals...and that residuals make up more than half of their income. I still don't get why their upset.

    What do you think?

Hollywood likes to push socialism and communism and giving everyone a fair shot. But just try to mess with one of their unions and we will all suffer their capitalistic rampages! Crazy ain't it?

That is the big problems with Unions. the Union leaders take what is already a pretty good thing, and get greedy for more. If they don't get it, then they blackmail (sorry, but not a better world for it) the moneymen. Neither of them realise that it is you and I that get punished for their collective greed.

well they can complain all they want. the big names bring in more money cause there are people who will go to a movie just because of who is in it. which i personally thinks takes away from the audience getting the complete experience the movie was suppose to relay since they are then focusing more on the actors than the script and direction of the movie.
