Thread: Do all women "scream, yell or cry" during child birth?

I am wondering if most women scream, yell or cry (for a lack of better words) during child birth? I ask this because my wife recently gave birth to our little girl, and she made no "sounds" that indicated pain. I could see in her face that she was in pain, because he cheeks were tensed up and her teeth were clenched. This was our first child. Did you or your wife/girlfriend show you were in pain, or were you silent. She has never liked to let people now when she is in pain, so that may be part of it. But I do now that child birth is painful. She wasn't given any drugs either, she didn't want any. Thank you in advance.

I had no drugs either and i just loudly moaned. Nothing too loud. no crying or real carryin' on.

Remember to push with you bottom and NOT your face. Alot of women put stress on their face and clench their teeth n such. all this will do is pop a blood vessel in your eye ;(
