Thread: Can't get a new kitten to stop whining!!?

We recently took in an outdoor kitten as an indoor one. She's the cutest thing...when she's asleep. When she's awake, we can't get her too shut up. All she does is whine and moan. We make sure she has new food, water, and new litter every day. But she still won't stop moaning. I pick her up and hold her for a little bit, but that seems to do nothing either. She's well over 9 weeks old now, so it shouldn't be the need for her mother. Can someone help???

ps: as i type this, she has climbed on my back, and continued whining in my ear.

She possibly used the whining to call her mother but get her checked at the vets.
