Am I being rude to my bf when I always complain about his dirty nails, rough...

...hands, wrinkled neck skin? My bf said I keep complaining and is irritated. However, I'm really embarrassed when we bumped into some friends then they shake hands with him. I advised him to put lotion on his neck and hands and to exfoliate but he is offended saying that I just need to find myself a younger partner. I would like to stay but I'm not happy with his unclean looks and I'm tired of arguing.

If he's DIRTY then you have every right to tell him. Just be gentle and don't be rude. It's important to keep a good hygiene and stay clean. Buy him some lotion or something that will help.

Maybe you could offer to give him a neck massage and sneak some lotion in there? Or buy him a manicure. I know most guys wouldn't like manacure but it's actually good if they want nice clean hands, and it's not like they need to get polish. An if your bf laughs at you buying him a manicure act like he hurt your feelings. Buy him a turtleneck.

It's definitely offensive when someone you like tells you that you need to change something in order to recieve their approval, especially if it's something most people are sensitive about. (like age or weight)
