CC: in that statement you contradict yourself. So where DID your pension come from? Your own contributions or those of the young people currently working?
If you (correctly) conclude the latter bear in mind that when you were our age you had a relatively tiny elderly population to support.

In my view when you start to get old its like you become a teenager again thinkin this big rock revolves around you and solely you. When the oldies don't get their way they pout, its like talking to a child

I'm not completely sure what you are talking about, but it sounds to me like YOU are complaining. If you want a 2nd home and vacations (holidays?), then work hard and pay for it. The only people I know with 2nd homes and great vacations, are those that worked hard all their lives and saved.
The people I know who are surviving solely on Social Security, really aren't making it too well. But no one I know is complaining as much as you are.

Everybody these days well almost are hypocrites regardless of age. Old people think it is right that working people have to pay for their crap, even though it is not. Yet they criticize us for being self centered. They are old , they make basically no contributions whatsoever so therefore they do not need to rewarded. They put a big strain on our healthcare system, and they get prescribed non neccessary drugs like Viagra. What about the little babies around the world that need antibiotics to treat a life threating infection. The cost of a Viagra pill to a amoxicillin pill is $15 to .5 cents. The solution is to let them live on their own, since they have saved up money.
Getting old sucks no matter what your circumstances.
