There are 81 home games a year, the team gets a ton of money from all the tickets, food, drinks, souvenirs, ect sold each game. Where is this money suppose to go, the owner and manager? No. Why make just 2 guys billionaires, you gotta pay the guys who play too.
I think the players deserve it. They work their a s s off to get to the majors. And then they work their a s s off while they're IN the majors. People need to shut up about how much players get.

Hmmm... Little clev has a good point though.
Because they don't make that much money. Because the baseball players whine about not making enough money. Because they see baseball players salaries go up, along with ticket and concession prices but they still make the same money as they did last year. Because they would love to get paid to play a game. Because it is truly rediculous that people that are there to entertain get paid more than people who save lives.
