It's called the passage of time.....the guys from 2004 are getting older now, so you need new talent. We DON'T want a repeat of WCW where the main event rosters average age is 40+. New talent has to come along, and I'm kind of annoyed it took so long for it to happen this time around. As far as set changes, alot of the set changes were done to catch up to technolofy, WWE needed to replace the Titan-Trons with new HD screens, so changed the sets to fit with the new screens. As far as the PG rating, it was dont because Vince wants to make more money (as do all Americans) and let's see his ratings are up, merchandise sales are up, so it's not going anywhere anytime soon. We have been in a down period, as wrestling tends to go through, but I see the signs of a new era starting to bloom, I think within the next few years people will be debating if the 2012 era is better than the attitude era.
