Thread: Would you be interested in this?

Would it be interesting to write a fictional story incorporating Entartete Kunst? This was an art exhibition in 1937 Germany in which Hitler displayed 650 pieces of artwork that he condemned. I wrote a paper on it this spring and thought I might take some of the things I learned from the paper and make a fictional short story about someone who visited it. Is the topic innately interesting, or did your eyes glaze over as you read about it?

I suppose it'd depend on which genre you're going for. Is it about when Hitler first put the artwork up? Is it an action story in which the main protagonist and antagonist have a big scene at the climax here? I'd say it's all up to whichever audience you're going for.

I don't know if you could write an entire book about that.

i think its interesting. but don't make it to detailed and don't use advanced vocabulary. when dealing with a complex topic like that, try to make the book simple and easy to read
