What would happen if the U.S.S Richard Montgomery exploded?
The Montgomery is a 'liberty ship' which ran aground off sheerness in 1944, laden with thousands of tonnes of explosives!

It is the ss richard montgomery not USS, title of which is only given to a navy ship.
