Thread: Thought provoking topics that anger, interest, or excite you?

I have an English project due tomorrow where I need to come up with any topic that interests me and ask a question about it (which I'm going to study for SEVEN months, so it needs to be a pretty damn interesting topic). Any ideas?
A friend of mine did "What enables people to use murder to solve their issues?"

@Bill, I want to stay away from religious and philosophical questions to avoid offending any classmates (our project will be presented later) and I'm not atheist/agnostic so I wouldn't choose that topic anyways. People dying is part of life, no one wants to live in a world where everyone is happy and everyone dies of old age.

Why are there not more agnostics or atheists in the world when we see innocent infants and children suffering and in pain? How can blind faith override these facts?
