I finally got the nerve to talk and introduce myself to this guy who stares and smiles at me a lot whenever I go to his work. I introduced myself to him 2 days ago. He seemed genuinely happy and interested to talk and all (even my friend noticed how big he was smiling during and after our meet).. So today I go to his work to pick up a few things and he's at the checkout lane so I go to his. He says the "Hello" first and I said "Hi Chad! How are you?" and he said "I am fantastic! Except I have to work in a lane" I said "Oh" and laughed. My friend was with me and she said he was mumbling something like he was trying to talk to me but I was digging in my purse and about to slide my card so he stopped mumbling. I heard him mumble too but I was thinking about something to say that I pretty much ignored it. I don't know if he was trying to talk or what.. so as he gave me the receipt, he just said "Have a good one" and looked away. My friend felt that he may have been nervous. So I had to go back again 30 minutes later because I forgot something and I saw him as I got in line and he just did a eyebrow move and a wide eyed, nod thing. (my mom said it was probably a "oh your back again. hi" He came up to me just tell me that another line would be faster and stood there as I said "Oh!" and then he walked off. And that was it. I don't know.. it feels like he lost interest or never did or.. maybe busy. He is a floor manager and he was walking everywhere. I don't know. What do you think??

He seems pretty interested and on your last trip to the store he probably knew he was going to be somewhere else so he was trying to be helpful and telling you another lane would be faster.

Just don't go everyday to the store just to see him... lol (no stalking) and next time you are there act more confident and casual, maybe find an event, party, game, in the area and tell him you are going with your friends and he should come too!
