Am I over-analyzing it or did he lose interest? Easy 10 points:)?
I finally got the nerve to talk and introduce myself to this guy who stares and smiles at me a lot whenever I go to his work. I introduced myself to him 2 days ago. He seemed genuinely happy and interested to talk and all (even my friend noticed how big he was smiling during and after our meet).. So today I go to his work to pick up a few things and he's at the checkout lane so I go to his. He says the "Hello" first and I said "Hi Chad! How are you?" and he said "I am fantastic! Except I have to work in a lane" I said "Oh" and laughed. My friend was with me and she said he was mumbling something like he was trying to talk to me but I was digging in my purse and about to slide my card so he stopped mumbling. I heard him mumble too but I was thinking about something to say that I pretty much ignored it. I don't know if he was trying to talk or what.. so as he gave me the receipt, he just said "Have a good one" and looked away. My friend felt that he may have been nervous. So I had to go back again 30 minutes later because I forgot something and I saw him as I got in line and he just did a eyebrow move and a wide eyed, nod thing. (my mom said it was probably a "oh your back again. hi" He came up to me just tell me that another line would be faster and stood there as I said "Oh!" and then he walked off. And that was it. I don't know.. it feels like he lost interest or never did or.. maybe busy. He is a floor manager and he was walking everywhere. I don't know. What do you think??
The fact that he came up to you and told you that another line would be faster is a big hit... I would ignore him and move on. When guys feel that they are getting a lot of attention they loose interest. Just say hi when you are face to face and be polite. But don't go out of your way to see him. But it sounds like your mom was right about the eye thingy.... Ignore and look brilliant every time you see him from now on
he didn't but you saying oh all the time is going to make him think you did. It's you, not him. Plus he prolly thought u were ignoring him. You need to be direct with him, cuz I'm pretty sure he thinks u don't like him
yes you are very much over-analyzing. you need to take action. if you like him, flirt with him. ask him to hang out with you. ask for his number. go for it! no more messing around, ok? don't waste time with thinking about every thing he does, you seem like a cool girl, he'll like you if you just go out and get him.
Busy and distracted. If you are just meeting this guy, your friend just being there could be off-putting. I know it's awkward as hell just standing there as my girlfriend talks to her friends. You don't know what the heck to say, and it can be interpreted by them as maybe you seem rude or upset. But chances are he was just nervous and the combination of being at work wasn't helping the situation. I wouldn't cut him out of the picture just yet.
i think he might like you. i don't think he lost interest in you, but is thinking that you have lost interest in him and is trying to show that he wasn't interested in you (some macho BS). Just try to rekindle it by maybe doing to asking out. Nothing too serious, but just a general thing like "you know, we should get together sometime and hang out" and give him your number. That way, if he's still interested, he can call you and ask you out on a proper date. but if he really isn't, then it's just a basic thing and he can just throw away your number. Hopefully not though.
he was probably busy..hes a floor manager so probably he had to get his work done..im sure hes thinking about his dumb he acted...but anyway the guy was at work so he needs to get his job done..dont think about it too much..next time u go in the store, see how he acts..if hes nice 2 u, then probably he was just pre-occupied this one time.
lolz ur definately over anazlying! from the way it sound he was either asking u out or was trying to but endded up getting frustrated. talk to him tomorrow and take him to starbucks or something with the excuse you want to get to know him better!
