If I buy an unlocked Motorola RIZR Z8 will it work in the US?

I want to buy the Motorola RIZR Z8 and I'm going to buy it unlocked off of ebay.com. I have West Central Wireless which has a 850 megahertz deal.. and I'm just wondering if it will work.
