mcafee prompting divx site as unsafe. is it really unsafe?
I wouldn't really trust Mcafee, it has LOTS of false positives, if it's just divx.com, then yes, its safe, divx is a VERY commonly used website, they have codecs needed for a lot of people to watch videos downloaded to their computer.
dear!DivX is video compression technology similar to mpg ("mpeg" not miles per gal) that requires a codec (piece of software that understands the format) to view. I would say it is safe to download from a trusted site.

As a matter of fact, McAfee SiteAdvisor says it's safe too. Maybe your McAfee program is mistaken or is not updated.

Otherwise, your McAfee is picking up a false-positive. It happens a lot.
