What would you do in this situation?

You live out in the country, you wake up on your bed in the middle of the night, the time is 0030, you look outside your window and you see a pair of red eyes, from a distance, looking at you. Assuming you are freaked out by now, you go downstairs to take a drink because you thought it was a hallucination from tiredness. But then, while your in the kitchen, you see the same pair of red eyes looking directly at you from another room in your house.
There is also a power-cut in your area. And you do not have any firearms in your house.

What would you do?
