I have a 2008 Honda Metropolitan*Base scooter and the kick stand won't go back up. I tried everything to fix and it doesn't want to go up. I don't know what's wrong with it. Does anyone know what's wrong and/or how to fix it?

does it have a lock down feature, a push in and flick up type of thing? otherwise it's probably siezed and needs a little lubrication. Failing that unclip the spring & undo the pivot bolt to remove and inspect. [Rightey tightey, Lefty loosey]
if you haven't already, raise the seat and move the yellow handle opposite of where it is now
The yellow handle in the seat is the lock, if you checked your battery or fluid you may have moved it.
I'm so glad I found this thread! I was having the same problem, and couldn't for the life of me figure it out. I thought maybe the stand got rusted and sprayed WD40 on it, but it still wouldn't go up. Then I looked inside the seat and found the yellow lever had been moved. Pushed it into the locked position, and the Metro came down from its stand. I felt like such an utter doofus. xD
