Considered an ipod or psp or ds or pheraps something similar but not fully sure.

It seems that you have a lot of electronics going on there. I'm not sure how you handle all the audio inputs but an audio mixer could do a very good job.

iPod vs PSP
The only reason I would buy an iPod over the PSP would be because I want to hear music for long periods of time. The PSP can do about the same, but the battery life won't last as long. Yes, touch interfaces are nice but the PSP is the king of gaming.

There's several PSP models. The PSPgo and the PSP 3000. Make sure you check the reviews on Amazon and see what people like most:

The DS is like a combination of both, but I wouldn't buy it since you have a PS3 and you could use the PSP in conjunction with it.
psp is a good choice, so is a ipod touch
