Usually service provider wont accept termination of contract before the contract period expires . If you want to switch your sidekick to use with other carrier, use unlock code . You can get it from any of the online vendors like WickedUnlock.com to unlock it . Note: GSM unlcoked phones are compatible with other GSM sim cards not with CDMA sim cards .,
