My cousin bought a house and his laundry dryer doesn't work well. After trying figure why, we found out the vent is attached to a heater vent and goes straight to the furnace, just like the other heater vents. Is this normal, or is this the reason why the dryer isn't working? Supposedly the dryer is brand new.
