Can i use a mobile phone's headset as a PC mic?

Hey.
Well i just want to insert the mobile phone headset (with mic) in the mic slot of my PC, and use it as a micrphone.

Is it possible?

Its a normal samsung mobile headset. ( not bluetooth, its wired)
