Thread: WWE SummerSlam 2008 predictions

These are my predictions ( note: also note if you think the match will be good or what not ):

Jeff Hardy vs. MVP- Good match, winner- Probably Jeff Hardy

Winner ( s ) Take All match ( stip, if one time gets the pinfall or submission, they'll be the IC and Womens Champs )- Kofi Kingston and Mickie James vs. Santino Marella and Beth Phoenix, good match, winners- the winners of this match is questionable. Why? Because Mickie has held the Women's Title for a while now, and to bqh, she hasn't been doing much with it, but Kofi has held the IC Title for only a little over a month, so the winners, it could be either or.

Mark Henry vs. Matt Hardy for the ECW Title- match should just be ok at best, because you've got Matt Hardy who's a good wrestler, and Mark Henry who isn't the best wrestler, but isn't the worst wrestler. Winner- Probably Mark Henry because he hasn't held the title for that long and this is basically Matt Hardy's first shot at a world title. So there you go for that match.

Then, you've got John Cena vs. Batista in a First Time Ever match- oh gosh, this match is going to be crap, because Cena and Batista are both horrible in the ring, they can't wrestle for crap, and they're both lazy. I'm sorry i'm not going to make predictions here. All i'm going to say is, that this is going to be THE worst match of the night! I'm sorry!

Then, we've got Triple H vs. Khali for the WWE Title- ok at best match- winner, probably Triple H because he's probably going to hold on to the title a while longer maybe until Surivor Series, or sometime this fall.

Then' we've got CM Punk vs. JBL for the World Title- possibly one of the best matches of the night imo, but who will win? BQH, I really don't know. For the simple fact that WWE likes to put the main title on big men ( Taker, Kane, etc. ), but Punk hasn't held the World Title for that long though. However, from what I heard, Randy Orton is supposed to come back and interfere in this match. So that will be special ( i'm serious I really like Randy Orton ) and maybe Orton will get his title back soon so he can be more credible on Raw against someone he can beat, because when he faced Triple H, you knew Triple H was going to retain both of those times. So there you go for that match.

Last, but CERTAINLY not least, HiaC match, it's The Undertaker vs. Edge. This match will be Match of THE night, IF they get on top! BQH, I think they will because almost every HiaC match that Taker is in, he almost always goes on top of the cell! Who will win? Probably Taker, because he's returning, but the shocking thing is, he hasn't won most of the HiaC matches he's been in. But there you go for that match.

So overall, this could be anywhere from a good to a really good ppv imo! That's my SummerSlam 2008 predictions. Please send me your predictions. That's it, i'm done. Have a good day people later!

There's something I forgot about the HiaC match. Taker and Edge can put on great matches! Taker's been in great matches ( perfect example: HiaC against Mankind at KoTR 1998 ), as for Edge ( perfect example Wrestlemania 17 in the TLC match for the Tag Team titles, btw that's one of my most favorite matches of all time imo, #2, only next to Ric vs. Shawn at Wrestlemania XXIV ), so both guys can put on great matches!

Edge VS The Undertaker - The Undertaker

HHH VS The Great Khali - I'm not 100% about this because on the Wrestling sites they are saying that the WWE want to make the most off Khali because he might not be there for long, but to be honest i think HHH will win.

CM Punk VS JBL - CM Punk (probably by DQ or something)

Mark Henry VS Matt Hardy - Like the HHH VS Khali match, i am half and half about the winner of this match too, but i think Mark Henry will retain.

John Cena VS Batista - John Cena

MVP VS Jeff Hardy - I can see Jeff winning this match.

Mickie James & Kofi Kingston VS Santino Marella & Beth Phoenix - This is very hard, with candice returning soon, i think the WWE will give a heel the belt so that candice can win it back, and who better then the person that injured her in the first place, Beth Phoenix. I'm saying Santino and Beth will win this match.
