Thread: Would you be upset at your significant other changed there mind about future plans?

my boyfriend and i have a plan, i've gone back to school to help implement the plan, and i don't like my program, i'm only 1 semester in and I want to change programs and become a nurse. the program is 2.5 years, which is only half a year longer than the program i'm in now...
i'm in the dental program which is a great program, but it's not making me happy, it's stressing me out and making me fight with my boyfriend and my family. it's making me into a crazy person because I'm so stressed.
i have always wanted to go into nursing and always been too scared to speak up for myself and voice this...

would you be mad if you were in my boyfriends shoes???

I think that if your boyfriend loves you he should support you. It's hard to say how he will react because everyone has different personalitites, however I don't think 6 months will make a huge difference to the plan. It's far more important for you to be happy. I think if you're happy your bf will be happy too :-)

It's your life as much as it is his. Talk to him about it, tell him how you feel. Don't put yourself through anything terribly bad just for what he wants.
