- I will wait till the AMD phenom II x4 920 to fit in the motherboard

and how long will it be good before its outdated?
haven't decided on vid card because ati is releasing something near mid '09

The Intel i7 Core chips (quad core) already out perform the AMD chips substantially. I'm a major AMD backer, but I won't close my eyes and pretend Intel doesn't exist.
