I’m watching something on the Discovery Channel on it and it seems pretty stupid. For example, the secret service promptly cleaned out the car at the hospital. My thinking is that they weren’t covering up evidence, they were preventing the press swarming around from getting pictures of the President’s brains splattered all over the limo. I just can’t see how anyone thinks it was some kind of conspiracy.
Let's think about the ramifications of a conspiracy inside the government though.

#1: You have to make a plan AFTER Kennedy is elected, and it takes time to place people in government positions.

#2: You have to have enough people go along with it for it to work.

Which leads to #3: If there was a conspiracy to kill Kennedy, then it would mean Kennedy would have to have been about to do something most of the government, something nearly everyone else important would see as damaging to our country or its intrests. Quite possibly something wrong. And that would make the assassins heros, wouldn't it?
