Why did he tell me what he wants to name his future son?

I have been dating this guy for about a month now...we have both met the families....etc. The other day driving in the car he told me what he wanted to name his future son...why would he do this? Is he seeing this relationship as something serious?

I should also mention that he refers to our pets as "the kids"...if that makes any difference

No worries, I've done that with past girlfriends before. It doesn't mean anything serious.

EDIT: Calling your pets kids is a little out there, I've never done that in past relationships so this could be something on another level but I doubt it, especially if it's only been a month.

He could be trying to hint to you that he'd like to have these sort of conversations with you. It doesn't necessarily mean he sees you as the mother of his children, but he's probably taking the relationship pretty seriously (especially for just a month lol) to be talking about those sorts of things.
