First of all nobody is claiming the "steel" melted anything. What is pouring out of the south tower is not thermate. It is likely molten aluminim (which does glow when it is hot enough), and that molten material seen by firefighters was also likely "molten aluminum". All that debris kept it hot enough so that it continued to glow. (yes that is physically possible) Pockets of temperature were recorded at above 1800 degrees which at that temperature steel loses 90% of its strength. When the collapse initiated it initiated off to one side. I know this because the top 15 floors were leaning. the rest of the building collapsed because the top 15 floors caused each floor individually to collapse. do not bring up Richard Gage. The guy is a fraud that should be arrested for fraud. He wants you to pay him an insanely large sum of money per month, but if you do not want to then you can be a 1 time donor. They call this "Bring an Architect to lunch" (Richard Gage is an Architect).
The counter on his site keeps going up and yet he has gotten 0 new signatures recently.

I forgot to mention. That diagonal cut was made during cleanup. If the conspiracy theorists actually did some research then they would know that.
aved- why that makes no sense. there are more than 100 eyewitness that specifically saw a "large plane" hit the pentagon.

Actually both planes were travelling at nearly 500 mph which means there wont be much debris left. Especially in the case of flight 93. But there were identifiable parts at both locations. The hole at the pentagon was ALOT smaller than would be there if a cruise missile hit.
The WTC was not mt everest. It could not resist as a bloc because it was not a block. Each floor had to do its own resisting. And the weight above the collapsing floors above was by far too much for each individual floor to handle. It would not have seemed like there was much resistance.

Irrational people cannot be reasoned with, it really is that simple.

I keep asking the wackos to research ValuJet 592, where a DC9 crashed into WATER and essentially disappeared. This will help them understand how a Boeing 757 can essentially disappear when it slams into concrete and steel. Sadly, they never do, or they choose to ignore the simple fact that machines like airplanes, made of aluminum, steel and other composites, turn into a buch of itty bitty bits when they hit stuff at several hundred MPH.

Why does your disproving the 9/11 conspiracy only focus on New York when THREE planes supposedly went down? Where is the debris from the other two crashes? Are we really supposed to believe that a 747 plane went into that tiny hole in the Pentagon, or that a plane can crash in a field and totally disintegrate engines and all?

And what about the fact that planes have hit buildings before and the buildings have never EVER collapsed? Or that jet fuel cannot physically reach a high enough temperature to melt concrete or steel? Or the flash of explosives seen on lower floors as the building came down? Or the majority of fire and engineering experts in this country that have said it isn't possible?

Why don't you approach it with an open mind? Examine all the FACTUAL evidence and make a rational conclusion. Or are you too deep in denial to admit that your own government could have had a hand in doing something so heinous? The only way to correct corruptiuon is to first acknowledge that it exists.

Yes the diagonal cuts were made during demoliton. Who says they weren't? I have seen the footage.

But how comes it fell str8 down? It looked like it was a demolition. + People said they heard bombs going off? Theres a video on youtube which shows bombs in the building.

And WTC had an uncontrolled fire burning for several hours.

These buildings had Truss roof and floor construction. Walk around your town and look for the red triangles on buildings with R and F on them - ask a fireman what that means and WHY.

I am a conspiracy theorist - I think LBJ killed JFK, I think flight 800 was SHOT down - but I know the WTC was taken out by fire.

An example of "simple physics" .... Objects cannot fall at the rate of gravity (1G) when they encounter resistance (kinetic energy...namely the 80+ concrete and steel floors and the 47 core columns that had 'given way' to falling debris.)


Or....you can look at building 7 and apply the same logic. Whereas this doesn't work with the 'fire weakened the steel and caused a complete collapse for the first time in history' myth.

You seem to be really into proving 9/11 conspiracy theorists wrong, and yet I never see any here in YA Politics. Why is that? Just curious.
