What predictions did Bush make about the current state and future of our economy?
Poor Shirley and CountryFirst, two loony libs who are actually trying to make others believe that they didnt make any money under Bush when unemployment was at 4.5% and the DOW was rocking above 14000.
Odd how you two forgot to mention that huh ; )
Bush didn't have any future predictions because he only thought about things in the moment and how to spread republicanism along with filling his pockets with money along with the rest of his cabinet.
that's why we're in the deficit we're in today. it's that simple.
I just remember him telling us to go shopping more then everything would be OK.
Economic ruin. He wanted the same thing Obama does. So did Clinton. And Bush's daddy. They've been working on this for quite a while now. The Republicans held them back. The real Republicans, that is.
Bush denied the recession until the pressure got so strong that he finally had to admit it. He always towed the line and said the fundamentals were strong (something McCain parroted during the campaign).
