What to say when a future employer asks, "tell me a little about your self"?

I don't have very much interviewing skills and i usually end up stumbling when a possible future employer asks the question, "now tell me a little about your self". What should i say in that situation?

Tell the man what he wants to hear, such as:

"I believe I have a high work ethic. I come to work on time. I don't call in sick. I am dependable and do my job like I am supposed to. I get along well with others. I don't goof off and I will do chores that others won't do. I'm hoping that you will give me the chance to prove that I would make a good employee and am anxious to start." (Things like this are exactly what he wants to hear.)

When he asks, "Do you have any further questions?" Look him in the eye and say "Yes, when can I start?" Say it with a smile. Good luck.
