Like a scene from a Western movie, I am watching this all happen.

There was the "Down and Out Has Been" type of guy (DOHB), the Town Mayor, and the Sherif.

The DOHB guy was wanted for a crime, of which the Mayor has reported to the Sherif, and for some reason wanted to be in on the arrest as well, so the Sherif deputises the Town Mayor and off they go with guns to arrest the DOHB guy.

When they arrive at the DOHB guys "Place" and the Sherif calls for the DOHB guy to come out peacefully a gun fights between all three starts. Shots are exchanged between them all, and near misses are ensured.

Until it seems the DOHB guy has run out of ammo, silence for a short time, and that's when the Mayor (deputised) breaks cover, against the Sherif cries, and rushes in closer to where the DOHB guy is, and at the same time the DOHB guy breaks cover and instantly confronts the Town Mayor with both guns raised at each other.

STAND OFF. (Does the Mayor know if the DOHB guy has really run out of ammo? I don't.)

The Sherif now also breaks cover, but without his gun raised and walks over to the two and pleads for the DOHB guy to take it no further or some other type of calming words for the situation...

This is where the dream scene ends. Interpretations please.
