Tattoo placement for a future teacher?

I know I want a tattoo, it's going to be a few words long. Where is a practical place to get it so that I can still get hired for a teaching job when I get out of school? I already was thinking on my hip in the front, but I've been told it will stretch out during pregnancy and look awful after. I would love to put it on my foot or wrist, but I don't know if there is a good way to get it there and then be able to cover it up when I need to.

    Any suggestions?

i teach in a nice district in colorado and several teachers, including myself have visible tattoos....i have not found administration to care...i make sure they are covered for things like parent teacher conferences, meetings ect...

i'd keep 'em covered for interviews but as long as they are not inappropriate images/words...i wouln't worry about them.

Don't go for wrist or foot, but you could probably get it on your arm, or maybe on your back somewhere. Depending on the length, maybe you could do it down your leg or the backs of your arms.

Just assume you need to hide it wearing a short sleeved t shirt, knee length pants/skirt, and sandals. I can hide all of my tattoos in that, and I know I won't have trouble covering them up for work.
