Thread: is this tattoo-able ??? will this make a good future tattoo design ?? ?

im turning 18 in April of this year and i want ot get my 1st tattoo i decided to get something small at first .

im thinking about getting an ankh inside of a tribal sun on my calf
its going to be 5x5 inches

i have 3 tattoos on my mind that i want to get i want a phoenix on my upper arm it will start on my shoulder and end below my elbow , and ankh and sun and also an angel
this is the picture of the angle that i really like its inspired by Nightwish's song "amaranth" amaranth also is a kind of a flower
if your a fan of metal music you will know what im talking about anyways this is the picture:

now i really like everything about this angel the wings the background but will it be possible to make the rain the same way ???

i talked with the tattooist about the phoenix and the sun with ankh she said that it will take 4 hours for the phoenix and about 1.5-2 hours for the sun and ankh


i will be getting the ankh wth sun at the begining of the summer ( right after the end of school year )

I'm not against tats. I have 3 grown daughters 18 24 25 yrs old.
I will pay for their art work one day.BUT THEY KNOW DARN WELL

Sure, it can be done like that, but where are you planning on the background stopping, and your skin starting again? It would be easier to do it in another type of background. And it'll look just as moving the other way. Your way, it's gonna really cost you. It'll take twice as long. The bigger it's done, the eaiser it'll be to pull off. You have to put the dark sky around or before the raindrops. Big hassle. It's tattooable, but don't expect anybody to be jumping to tackle it.

tattoo artists are amazing people... they can do just about anything that you want them to as long as you are willing to pay for it.. .i'm guessing they can do the rain that way.
