That is because WTI is a commodity, and not an equity...
West Texas Intermediate (WTI), also known as Texas Light Sweet, is a type of crude oil used as a benchmark in oil pricing on of New York Mercantile Exchange's (NYME) oil futures contracts.
In short... You need a commodities trading account, and not an equity account.
