Thread: stressed out about my future?

I'm 15 and I'm always stressing out about my future. What program I'll do, what university I'll go to etc...whether I'll get a job etc. Ugh. I'm always on the internet researching about jobs and careers and universities and I feel as if I'm wasting my life away. I'm pretty ambitious though. anyways, how do I stop worrying and stressing about the future but still feel like I have control and direction?

How do I just let everything go and go live my life?

Dreams are good and necessary. If you don't have a goal to reach, you have no idea in which direction to go. However, always live in the present, not the future or the past. Live your life for purposes at hand, which may be to study hard and do well in school. Planning for a career is important, but it should not be an obsession. Live the life of a 15 year old. You'll have plenty of time to work--later.
