Thread: some1 tell me what i can do ? i'm a philosopher. i can be a great man in future?

i need a university or somewhere that want me. please tell me. i can show you my poems. and i can talk with with every1 who likes to be sure that i'm a philosopher. I want to leave iran, i have no job . i think philosophy can make a good job for me.

maybe you can be a teacher in kuwait ,,in a univercity there ,,,and keep studing and reading ,,,and ask al emam al rezzaa for what you want ^^

If you were a great philosopher you would realise that you would not need a job, I think that you have much thinking to do before you can call yourself a philosopher my friend.

philosophy is not all romantic and easy, its not like poetry. your first three years at university will be a breeze. Plato, Aristotle...their works are aesthetically appealing and beautiful in their simplicity and genius. When u become postgrad u deal with a lot of very complex texts. it is hardcore. you need an exceptionally analytical brain for it, or a very very curious mind. so consider carefully is this is what u want or can do.

A GOOD JOB, i don't think so...A good hobby,yes...
But,you can study it like a second study...

I think,in life,we need two studies:

You want to be a philosopher? So be then. It looks like you're complaining about circumstances, but remember,that they are seldom given. You have to make them yourself. It has never been easy for artists, philosophers, writers...So good luck for you.
