would you say There is nothing in the laws of physics to prohibit it, In physics, so the saying goes, if nothing is prohibited, it must happen at some point All we need to do is to work out how to manipulate black holes and wormholes, and away we go?

There is no future to go to unless events are already planned and have happened (like you play back a movie from a DVD). Even then, to go there (the future) wouldn't happen as one might calculate. Since the future hasn't become an event yet, to get there, you would have to slow the present time down, then catch up suddenly ( as in stop and forward to the middle of a movie on that DVD).
Now time itself is just relative and really doesn't exist in the universe. We see time as movement and the consciousness to observe that movement and relate it to a constant. Even speed/movement is relative. Imagine an endless universe empty of all matter except you - are you moving? How would you know?
I see time existing in the universe all at the same moment- past present and future.
