You do know that waste from nuclear facilities is deadly to humans for over 25,000 years, right? Right now they store it within the facility, but containing 20- 30 tons of nuclear waste per year per plant is going to eventually become an issue.
Not to mention the high security this waste is going to have in certain developing countries or countries with high threats of terrorism.
