able to,..? have more rights and be able to get away with something more easily, right? Afterall, don't people say that the rich or politicians are sorta of "above the law", meaning that they have the money to buy their way out of certain problems, pay off the right people, and they can get off from a minor crime that someone would normally spend maybe 2 years in jail over, right?

So all I have to do is get a better job, save up for my future, and I'll have some security and a "safety net" to get me out of a legal trouble bind in case it were to ever happen, right? Like i said, don't people with more money get in less trouble over things that someone who wasn't rich get in trouble over? So just save up and built that finacial safety net, and that'll increase my chances of getting off easy, RIGHT???

I'm just wondering if having enough money increases one's chances of getting off easy in a legal case whereas someone who DIDN'T have money wouldn't.
