Please please please give me some advice. I really need some help with my future....

...Ten points to msot helpful? I'm thinking about majoring in business with a specialization in international business, but i'm also considering a career in technology. What will be more high in demand? I'm afraid to go with the technology route because lots of stuff is being outsourced..but then again people are telling me I will be better of with technology. I don't think technology management will be a good idea either. A lot of people are also telling me to do engineering and then go later if i still want, i could go on to get a MBA. The only problem is, I don't think I have the will power and intelligence (i'm not that good at math) to go for an engineering degree. Even after taking everything into account, I still catch myself struggling to decide if I want to major in international business or technology. I have a balanced interest for both, so please don't tell me to major in whatever interests me the most. If you suggest technology, then please specify what degree in technology you think I should go for. I'm really looking forward to some great advice.

    THANKSSSSSS

You might evaluate civil engineering followed by a business degree. If you are interested in international affairs and are interested in technology then either civil engineering (buildings, water treatment plants, power distribution centers, water distribution) will always have an international market. Mechanical engineering might be a good choice. The business degree isn't hard to get for someone that already has an engineering degree. Don't let the math scare you too much. With the internet as a tool (I didn't have that because I'm older than dirt) you will get through. It is really a matter of your level of ambition because an engineering degree is not easy to get. You can also go technology without engineering such as the trade schools but if you can go either way, pick the engineering. True that many of the tech jobs are being outsourced but that is true for a considerable portion of the service sector as well and really what's left. Burger King? The projected deficit in engineers is huge in this country because of the huge number of people like me who will retire in the next 10 years or less. Water and Oil will both be very important in you entire life time no matter your age.
