Would this be wrong to name our future child? ?

I would like if I had a baby girl to name her

Giovanna Bellissima *Insert Italian last name here*

But my current boyfriend who I am very serious about has a daughter who's first name is irish but her middle name is Italian... Bella.

I thought it would be cute bc she would have something slightly in common with her older half sister... But someone just told me that it wouldnt be nice to do bc Bella means "Pretty or Beautiful" and Bellissima means Very Pretty or Very Beautiful.

Would this be an issue? Do you think family members and others or even her older half sister would see this as an insult?

BTW- FYI my boyfriend named his daughter... first and last name. His ex had nothing to do with the name choosing. He picked it and said this is what it is. So no it wouldnt be a reflection of what his ex picked for their daughter together.
i meant first and middle name.

Is this what you want your childs name to be? What do you think? Why does it matter what everyone else thinks? Do you think it would be wrong? Who are other people to dictate what the name of your child is going to be? What if everyone on answers said yes?
Would that mean your going to deprive your child of a beautiful name? If you like it than stick with the name, who cares what everyone else thinks. If thats the case than just let someone else name her if you dont feel the name kyou have chosen is appropriate, I know give her to me and Ill take care of her and Ill name her and shell be treated like she has descended from the heavens her entire life there problem resolved!!

First I think its too long of a name for a child to have to learn to spell, and second, yes I do think it is a little insulting.

"my current boyfriend who I am very serious about"

    "current" hardly suggests serious...

No...the names are beautiful. Most people don't know what names mean anyway

It is sort of naming her after the half sister, in a way.
I only believe this because of my religion (jewish), if you name someone after a person who is alive, you are trying to replace them or curse them.
    i dunno.
    its cute though.

in my opinion it's not that issue bc usually people deal with names not with meanings, but at the end it will depend on the girls in the future and how good their relationship is.

I would just go with what you want. Especially if it's your first child. If it doesn't matter to you or your husband then no one else should say anything.
